We allow sellers on Poshmark to ship via several different options.
Option 1: Sellers can choose to ship all orders with PoshPost, Poshmark’s own labels. These are standard USPS 2-day Priority Mail labels. The buyer typically pays $8.27 for these labels, unless you as a seller choose to fund a shipping discount (which we will deduct from your earnings). Posh Post orders will automatically turn to shipped once there is movement on the tracking label.
Option 2: Sellers can choose to ship orders with their own shipping labels. Poshmark currently only accepts tracking labels from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. For all non-Posh Post labels, carrier and tracking numbers must be sent via 3PL integration partner (e.g., DSCO / Rithum) in order for our system to appropriately mark orders as Shipped on the platform. If you choose to use your own labels, Poshmark will pass whatever amount the buyer has paid for shipping directly to you in your seller earnings for each order. $8.27 is the standard default rate, but sellers can offer discounts for either $5.95, $4.99, or FREE* - no other values are accepted. When leveraging Option 2, sellers can move between USPS, UPS, and Fedex labels freely - so long as your carrier is mapped correctly.
When going through the closet setup and onboarding process, you will need to denote which Option you'd like to leverage. Sellers can only choose one of the above options (cannot move back and forth).
Please note - if you send Poshmark incorrect shipping information, the system will not turn your order to shipped on the platform. If an order has not turned to shipped in 8 days, the buyer has the ability to cancel the order, potentially resulting in a Canceled but Shipped Order. If you notice that certain orders are not shipped (repeated reminders to ship notifications in your Poshmark account), please reach out to our Enterprise Orders queue with the applicable order ID to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
*Please note that free shipping cannot currently be offered on items under $12 due to platform restrictions.
