Setting Up My Poshmark Closet

Why do I need to enter my Tax ID Information?

Last updated on 21 Oct, 2025

As part of changes to U.S. law beginning in January 2022, Poshmark is required to provide any seller with $600 or more in gross sales for the 2022 calendar year with a Form 1099-K. Once you hit a $600 sales threshold, you will need to provide this information. Order processing will be halted until this is completed.

To add this information in app: please go to My Seller Tools > Manage Taxpayer Information. On web, this is accessed through Account Settings: https://poshmark.com/user/manage_tax_info.  If you are an international seller without a U.S. Tax ID, please contact Enterprise Operations for more information on how to proceed.
